DISCONNECTED LEARNING - Traditionally, students learn subjects in disconnected classes which limits understanding of how to integrate and apply knowledge and skills from multiple subjects in the real world.

We integrate subjects (e.g. math, literacy, social emotional learning) through the lens of addressing a specific challenge that is relevant to the community which sets up students to authentically solve entrenched problems over time.

UNINSPIRED ASSESSMENTS - Traditionally, assessments are used more for evaluation than as real-time tools for learning and growth.

Learners and facilitators have access to assessment data in real-time which they discuss and reflect on together as a way to foster continuous learning and growth.
