Habitat conservation with 3D modeling

Flowing through the hustle and bustle, the Bronx River is a diverse ecosystem threaten by the effects of urban life. 3rd graders will use 3D printing to tackle habitat destruction and support native species along the river. Why 3D modeling? The industry is expected to reach a value of $12.9B by 2028!

Food preservation with software development

Did you know, more than a third of all food in America is wasted each year? 5th graders will tackle software development to create an innovative app that reduces food waste in local grocery stores, while learning skills in a growing industry. By 2029, employment for software developers is expected to grow by 22%!

Art as a Catalyst for Civic Engagement

Guided by industry mentors, learners will work as artists and activists to create an immersive exhibit focused on social justice! Studies show arts involvement boosts civic participation by 2x. Art bridges gaps, communicates complex issues, and motivates collective action.
