Partner with us to seamlessly integrate standards-based instruction with real-world learning.
What We Do
We partner with you to sharpen your vision for real-world learning and bring it to life through a series of intentional activities.
Visioning and Planning
We provide customized plans for schools and orgs looking to transition to real-world learning based on their unique vision, strengths, and areas of growth.
School-Based Coaching
Whether through 1-1 engagement or a cohort, we teach the ins-and-outs of DEEDS, our instructional model. Together, we explore how to build or adapt modules and how to implement it in your setting.
Resource Sharing
We offer implementation resources such as self-directed training, sample projects and assessment tools that enable you to build and facilitate experiences where young people address relevant local challenges.
Advocacy
We promote identity-affirming, career-focused learning through storytelling and events, with a particular focus on underserved communities.
LEAD 359 (formerly Concourse Village Elementary School) is a highly acclaimed 3K-6th grade public school in the South Bronx, founded in 2013 by Dr. Alexa Sorden.
A National Blue Ribbon School and recipient of the Best Urban School Award, Concourse Village recognized that they had the right conditions to push their model further and meet the demands of an ever changing world. Enter: RevX.
Now equipped with a new name, new building, and expansion into the middle grades, we have joined forces to pilot exciting evolutions to their model. We’ve been integrating DEEDS modules into STEM and Humanities classes across all grade levels, and started the career-focused Micro-Apprenticeship program. We are continuing to develop new practices and experiences for learners’ academic and social-emotional well-being as LEAD continues growing into grades 7 and 8.
For a growing school looking to implement real-world learning, RevX has been:
Visioning: facilitating full staff sessions to envision the next iteration of the learning model
Building: co-designing curriculum for Pre-K through 8th, developing and tracking growth on pilots like Micro-apprenticeships
Coaching: coaching educators on new practices (teaching techniques, social-emotional well-being exercises, assessment strategies)
Frequently Asked Questions
Because evolution is justice in action! As technology advances, cultures shift, and career paths change, so must schools and other education spaces in order to help young people thrive.
Additionally, LEAD is expanding into new grades: 6th, 7th, and 8th! We are supporting their growth as they develop new curriculum and educational experiences for the inaugural middle school classes.
For a growing school looking to implement real-world learning, RevX has been:
coaching educators on new practices (teaching techniques, social-emotional well-being exercises, assessment strategies, amongst others)
co-designing curriculum for Pre-K through 8th
leading special projects (like Micro-apprenticeships)

Young people asked, “What if school helped us deal with the challenges we face, instead of always having to rely on “the powers that be”?”, and McComb Independent School District wanted to deliver!
McComb Independent School District is collaborating with RevX to kick off cross district work. Together we are preparing the district’s instructional team to create a cohesive district vision for real-world learning, build instructional resources, pilot, and determine what might be needed to do a district wide shift. We are collectively working to shift the K-12 experience from merely focusing on test scores and graduation rates, to a system of community advancement and impact.
Frequently Asked Questions
Learners identified mental health as an increasing issue in their community, so from elementary to high school, young people will be collaborating with the Mississippi National Alliance on Mental Illness to explore viable solutions.
Learners are tackling the challenge of mental health. Through the DEEDS framework they will work to master the State of Mississippi English Language Arts standards and will:
Discover the challenge via interviews, observations and discussion.
Examine the challenge via data analysis, research, and conversation.
Engineer a solution to the challenge via problem solving, communication, and an expert in the field of the challenge.
Do the solution they engineered and collect data as they test their hypothesis.
Share their learning and the ways in which they’ve grown as scholars to the McComb community.
RevX partnered with Synapse STEM Education in Central Florida to lead a summer camp dedicated toward the conservation of native wildlife through 3D printing.

Frequently Asked Questions
3D modeling (or 3D printing) is a multi-billion dollar industry that is growing in every major sector. Learning to how design and render products using 3D modeling programs bolters young people’s math, spatial reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills, while exposing them to a viable career path.
Not at this time. We hope to offer a e-store in the future where RevX learners can sell their products and generate wealth. For now, you’re welcome to try designing your own Bee Home using TinkerCAD, a FREE 3D modeling software!
We do not have any summer programs lined up this year, but our framework is adaptable for any educational setting! If you’re curious about bringing RevX to your summer, afterschool, or homeschool program, contact us.
